A ghrita is not a flavoured ghee. It is a preparation: the herb is first made into a decoction, then cooked into the ghee alongside a paste of the same herb, and reduced over multiple days until every drop of water has left and only fat-bound compounds remain. There is a traditional test — a drop on the palm should roll, not spread.
We follow that method, and we do not shortcut the three days.
